Luxembourg Police target drivers who fail to register foreign cars
Luxembourg Police are cracking down on foreign motorists who fail to register their vehicle and obtain Luxembourg number plates.
On Tuesday, they stopped a number of vehicles in Bofferdange with foreign number plates, among them German, French and British. In total four road users were charged, including the driver of a British registered car, which had been in the country since the end of 2015.
Under Luxembourg law, motorists moving to the Grand Duchy from abroad must register their vehicle and obtain Luxembourg plates within six months of moving.
