Luxembourg’s sporty princess turns 31
Luxembourg’s Princess Tessy blows out 31 candles on the cake on Friday as she celebrates her birthday.
The mother-of-two, who is married to Grand Duke Henri’s third son, Prince Louis, lives and works in the UK.
Earlier this year it was reported that the princess began a new job working as director of communications for private British security firm DS-48.
Tessy joined the Luxembourg Army in 2002, aged 18. In a recent interview, she gave valuable insights into the period of her life she spent working as a UN peacekeeper in Kosovo.
Since then she has gained a bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Richmond University, in England and a Masters in Diplomatic Studies.
A sporty princess, in 2014 Tessy memorable participated in and completed the Strong Man Run in Differdange.
Last September, the couple celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary.
