Super Saturday for RCL juniors and seniors
Cessange’s Boy Konen stadium is to host a Rugby extravaganza this weekend with four crucial matches taking place on Saturday.
First up at 11:30am is the RCL U14s v Standard Visé. After a disappointing start to the season the U14s have produced three consecutive victories to put them on the verge of promotion to Division 2 of the Belgian Championships.
For the first time RCL has asked two U18s to help coach this age group. JP Morgan sponsorship has allowed former Sports Lyceé students Liam Carroll and Tony Drenan to work alongside established coaches to mentor the boys at this crucial age.
At 1pm RCL U16s play Boitsfort in a Division 1 fixture. Both teams are assured their division one status, but a keenly contested encounter can be assured.
At 2:30pm RCL U18s also play Boitsfort in a Division 1 fixture. Third-placed RCL will look to put in a strong performance against top of the table Boitsfort after a hard fought victory at ASUB last Saturday.
