CSC has received permission from a Luxembourg regulator to acquire Intertrust. The two companies announced this on Friday afternoon. CSC and Intertrust are still awaiting one remaining approval in Luxembourg for Intertrust Fund Management.

In the meantime, 8 of the 13 regulators have given the green light for the acquisition. CSC Global Financial Markets is a leading provider of specialized administration services. Intertrust is a publicly traded international trust and corporate management company based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In addition to the remaining approval in Luxembourg, there must also be approval from the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Ireland and the Netherlands.
