Former Luxembourg Red Cross director has died
The former, long-time managing director of the Luxembourg Red Cross, Jacques Hansen, has died. According to RTL, he died at the age of 66 due to a heart attack while heading on holidays.
Hansen led the Luxembourg Red Cross for 26 years, and on January 1, 2013, he entered into his well-deserved retirement, and his successor Michel Simonis took on the role.
Even during his retirement, Hansen continued to help out the Red Cross on a voluntary basis.
