On Saturday afternoon, the Luxembourg flight company Luxair experienced a cyberattack.
On its Facebook page, the travel and leisure group announced: “We are currently experiencing a cyberattack and therefore you may have difficulties getting in touch with us or maybe encounter delays during check-in. We are working on getting the systems to run normally again as soon as possible.”
Luckily, just two hours later, everything seemed to be under control.
Its next Facebook message read: “This afternoon, Luxair experienced a ‘Denial-of-Service’ cyberattack which partially paralysed our IT systems and websites, causing delays at check-in and other inconveniences for our customers. Thanks to the good reaction of our IT teams, we are now back to normal…”
