HelloFresh takes over the Factor75

The German food delivery company HelloFresh takes over his American branch representative Factor75 in a deal worth a maximum of $ 277 million. Factor75 specializes in the home delivery of healthy and freshly prepared meals.

HelloFresh initially pays $ 177 million and can add another $ 100 million if Factor 75 meets certain objectives. Factor75 charges for this year a turnover of about 100 million dollars.

The food supply market in the United States is currently in full swing, driven by the high demand due to the coronacrisis. For example, earlier this year, the British-Dutch Just Eat Takeaway made a $ 7.3 billion deal to take over the American Grubhub, while taxi company Uber Technologies food delivery guy takes over Postmates for $ 2.7 billion. The Swiss Nestlé buys the delivery of freshly made meals, initially paying $ 950 million.
