Luxembourg-Thionville train services to resume
CFL, Luxembourg’s national railway company, has announced that train services between Luxembourg and Thionville in France are to resume gradually from Tuesday, 21 February.
Services had been suspended due to the collision of a passenger train and freight train near the marshalling yard of Bettembourg on February 14.
Replacement buses put into service on the evening of the accident will continue to operate between Luxembourg and France until the resumption of normal rail traffic.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
