The National Support Fund for Audiovisual Production announced winners

The selection committee of the National Support Fund for Audiovisual Production has decided to grant financial aid to eleven film production projects. The total amount which will be distributed among film makers is €8,165,411. Also additional €235,000 will be granted to several pre-production projects and for script-writing.

Here are the winners:

– Le refuge – €30,000 – feature-length fiction – writer: Guillaume Levil – writer-director: Cyrus Neshvad – production: Cyne Films.

– Maret – €60,000 – feature-length fiction – writer-director: Laura Schroeder – production: Red Lion.

– Lost in the ‘80s – €25,000 – feature-length documentary – writer-director: Andy Bausch – production: Paul Thiltges Distributions.

– Sara, Sara – €60,000 – feature-length fiction – writer-director: Donato Rotunno – production: Tarantula Luxembourg.

– Voyagers of the Enchanted Forest – €60,000 – feature-length animation – writer-director: Alê Abreu – production: Melusine Productions, reports Chronicle.

Production projects (total €7,655,411):

– The Room – 1,203,514 – feature-length fiction – writers: Vincent Ravalec, Eric Forestier, Gaia Guasti and Sabrina Karine – writer-director: Christian Volckman – production: Bidibul Productions.

– Icare – €3,120,000 – feature-length animation – writer: Isabelle Andrivet – writer-director: Carlo Vogele – production: Iris Productions.

– A Greyhound of a Girl – €3,200,000 – feature-length animation – writer: Dave Ingham – writer-director: Enzo d’Alò – production: Paul Thiltges Distributions.

– Do you also feel a tingle? – €131,897 – short fiction – writer-director: Lucía Valverde – production: Red Lion.

Cineworld projects (total €275,000):

– Jeunesse de Shanghai – €75,000 – feature-length fiction – writer-director: Bing Wang – production: Les Films Fauves.

– Todo Lo Que Arde – €200,000 – feature-length fiction – writer: Santiago Fillol – writer-director: Oliver Laxe – production: Tarantula Luxembourg.

The selection committee had reviewed a total of 23 projects submitted for a total of €13,736,329. The next selection committee dates are in 2018.
