Ryanair to fly to Milan Bergamo direct from Luxembourg

There are even more options for people travelling to Italy after Ryanair announced it will operate flights between Luxembourg and Milan starting in the spring of 2017.

The Irish budget airline made the announcement on Wednesday saying that it is to offer four weekly flights to Milan Bergamo, starting March 27, 2017.

The full schedule was not available at the time of publishing.

Currently, easyJet and Luxair operate flights between Luxembourg and Milan Malpensa but Ryanair will be the first to operate to Milan Bergamo.

The announcement comes after the airline announced it would begin operating flights out of Luxembourg. Earlier in the summer it pushed back the start of its first flights linking with Stansted and Porto from September 1 to the end of October. The firm said it was a result of operational delays related to the handling company chosen.

Meanwhile petitions have been set up calling for Ryanair and other airlines to operate other direct routes from Luxembourg to Bucharest and Scotland.
