The Luxembourg vehicle registration agency (Société nationale de circulation automobile – SNCA) is furthering its online services in order to simplify administrative procedures in the context of the country’s “Digital Lëtzebuerg” strategy.

As of now, it will be possible to complete different new procedures online. One big change relates to the online reservation, via MyGuichet, of personalised four-digit licence plates. This will be possible for cars and mopeds and will allow to check for the position on the waiting list.

Starting from today, it will also be possible to complete the procedure for the vehicle registration papers (demande d’un certificat d’immatriculation) or ask for a duplicate of these papers online via the same platform.

Other services will be available online in the coming months, such as a temporary suspension of the registration (mise hors circulation temporaire) and other services relating to the driver licence for example.

Furthermore, car owners will be able to check all available information relating to their vehicle such as the make, the date of registration, technical details or reserved licence plates online. The same goes for all information relating to the driver licence.
