Ryanair puts Luxembourg-Madrid on its map for 2017

Ryanair is to begin operating a new route between Luxembourg and Madrid in spring 2017.

The Irish airline said in a press release that four weekly flights will operate between the two cities starting March 26 next year.

The announcement comes hot off the heels of news the budget airline would operate flights between Luxembourg and Milan Bergamo, starting March 27, 2017.

Ryanair is expected to start operating its first flights out of Luxembourg, to London Stansted and Porto, at the end of October.

It was initially expected to begin on September 1 but the date was pushed back because of operational delays related to the handling company chosen.
