Customers at a bar in rue Jean Jaures in Dudelange were shocked when they heard a shot being fired from a hand-held firearm just outside the building.
The gun was fired according to reports, without reason, by a man who had just left the bar together with another person. Luckily nobody was injured in the incident.
The owner of the pub immediately informed the police who were able to rapidly identify the gunman and locate his home.
A search of the the apartment on behalf of the prosecution, uncovered two handguns, ammunition and several samurai swords.
All weapons were seized and and the man now faces legal proceedings.
