Luxembourg will be represented by three swimmers in Rio: Laurent Carnol, Julie Meynen and Raphaël Stacchiotti.

Meyen posted B cut times of 25.31 in the 50 freestyle and 55.18 in the 100 freestyle.

Carnol will head to his third Olympic Games this summer. The breaststroker was Luxembourg’s first ever semifinalist in 2012 in the 200 breaststroke.

Stacchiotti will also be at his third Games. In 2012 the now 24 year old finished just shy of the semifinals in the 200 IM.
