The 10th annual edition of the Nuit des Lampions is being held on Saturday 23 September in Wiltz from 16:00, with many streets illuminated by a multitude of lanterns and luminous installations, along the Grand-Rue to the Amphitheatre.

This year, the Jardin de Wiltz and the streets leading to the amphitheater will shine in a new light for the evening. After the great success of the 2016 edition, the organisers are continuing the proven concept and offer an original cultural programme for all ages in an impressive setting.

This year, for the first time, the Amphitheater, known for hosting the Festival de Wiltz, will be involved and will serve as a stage for national and international new discoveries of the music scene. In addition to numerous live acts that explore the entire musical spectrum from Electronica to Balkan sounds, spectators can discover theatre, art and dance, circus and light spectacles which appeal to the different senses.

To get there, a special “Train des Lampions” will start from Rodange and will travel via Esch-sur-Alzette, Bettembourg, Luxembourgand up to Wiltz. Additionally, a free shuttle bus will operate from Eschweiler, Goesdorf, Winckrange and Bastogne. For cars, a P&R service will operate from Wiltz train station (hourly from 14:00) and the Zone d’Activité Salzbaach (every 20 minutes from 14:00)
