A competition aimed at technology companies in Luxembourg has been launched.

Luxembourg Cloud Awards is looking for creative and original cloud services to enter a competition which will be judged by a jury of experts.

The competition – formally called EuroCloud Awards – is the main platform for companies within the field of cloud computing and “software-as-a-service”.

Entrants will be able to take part in four categories, including best cloud service provider, best cloud transformation methods, best cloud service provided by start up CSPs and best business impact provided by cloud services.

The winners will have the chance to take part in the Europe-wide competition organised by Cloud Community Europe, competing against the winners of all participating countries across Europe.

In partnership with ITnation, Cloud Community Europe-Luxembourg has opened the competition to all companies which have successfully integrated cloud solutions.

The competition started in 2011 and its aim is to reward quality as well as the creativity, originality and flexibility of cloud services.

The closing date for entries is March 31 and a ceremony, where the winner of each category will be announced, will be held on May 4 at the Maison du savoir in Esch-Belval.
