Lucy partners with Transavia to build short-range EV-flight network

Airline Transavia is getting in with Lucy, a startup that wants to offer electric flights from 2025. Lucy starts with five-seater aircraft, which with a range of 250 kilometers can fly, for example, to Düsseldorf, Brussels, Strasbourg and Luxembourg.

The founder is Teun Kraaij, who we still know from Return processor BuyBay (Challenger 50 of 2018). Kraaij then went to work for electric sharing car provider Amber. For the launch of Lucy, the entrepreneur is working on an ‘ecosystem’ of universities, startups, corporates and aircraft manufacturers.
