Consultancy firm KPMG is organising the FinTech Awards Luxembourg for the second time, giving start-up companies in the FinTech sector the opportunity of boosting their business by winning one of three prizes.

Applications for the awards opened on March 1 and will close on May 1. Fifteen start-ups will then be selected to go through to the Competition Day in June. At this event, the original fifteen start-ups will be whittled down to seven finalists who will compete for three major awards:

Giant of FinTech – 50,000 euros in start-up money, hosting at the Technoport free of charge for four months and a one-year KPMG Hub for Entrepreneurship membership

Warrior of FinTech – Spending a week in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley

Master of FinTech – A media campaign to boost the company’s profile

The winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony and After-party on the KPMG beach.
