Afterwork Cycling Tuesdays a Success for Alter Domus
Alter Domus recently hosted its third edition of ‘Afterwork Cycling Tuesdays’ which took place in Luxembourg on 14 and 28 June respectively; this popular Alter Domus initiative brings together clients together with enthusiastic cyclists from the firm, to enjoy an evening of cycling guided by professional cyclists through the scenic Luxembourg countryside.
This year’s edition included 50km rides through the picturesque Luxembourg and Belgian countryside. The two groups of riders were led by a of duo local cyclists who are prominent on both the Luxembourg and international cycling scene. Tom Flammang, former champion of the Luxembourg Road Race Championships, as well as the promising young cyclist and recent second place in the same event, Alex Kirsch, from the Stölting Service Group Team, led the group of cyclists through the engaging circuit of roads that this stunning region has to offer.
This annual event continues to gain in popularity among Alter Domus’ clients. This year Alter Domus welcomed several clients from abroad, including participants from the UK. Around 50 participants took part over the two dates and both rides were followed by a dinner at B13, a popular restaurant in Bertrange.
Yet again, ‘Afterwork Cycling Tuesdays’ received rave reviews from the client and Alter Domus representatives who participated. The general consensus is that the strength of this event is that it combines a shared love of sport and cycling, with the opportunity to explore a fascinating region of Luxembourg in the company of an interesting selection of peers from their industry.
Alter Domus thanked Tom Flammang and Alex Kirsch for their participation, as well as all of this year’s participants, who have together made ‘Afterwork Cycling Tuesdays’ yet again a memorable experience for everyone involved. The company is looking forward to organising the 2017 edition which will as usual take place on two Tuesdays in June.
