The surge in construction-related incidents in Luxembourg continued over the weekend with two workers sustaining injuries on the job.

On Sunday, a worker slipped whilst working on some scaffolding along rue de Neudorf in Luxembourg City shortly before 12:00. He fell around a metre and was taken to the Centre Hospitalier Kirchberg.

Later that afternoon, a second worker who was completing an operation on some roofing along rue des Vignes in Mondorf-les-Bains, also lost his balance, this time experiencing a fall of about 3 metres. He sustained injuries and was taken by ambulance to hospital in Esch-sur-Alzette.
