Police have withdrawn an appeal to help find a missing pensioner after he was found dead near Houffalize, Belgium. André Burghoorn, 78, was last seen at 8pm on Monday in Weiswampach in the north of Luxembourg, Wort.Lu reports.

According to police, he drove to Belgium but never arrived at his destination. On Friday he was found dead near Houffalize. Police gave no further information regarding the circumstances of the man’s death.
