Luxembourg people moves: BGL BNP Paribas appoints executive committee member

The Luxembourg branch of BNP Paribas announced that its Board of Directors has nominated François Dacquin as a new member of the executive committee in charge of wealth management. The nomination has yet to be confirmed.

Linklaters LLP Luxembourg
Linklaters Luxembourg has elected Melinda Perera as an associate. She becomes the 12th associate of the law firm. The company also reinforced its Luxembourg subsidiary by appointing Anton Cox as counsel in charge of the development of the real estate practice.

Private equity specialist Laurent Thailly has been promoted to partner in Ogier’s Luxembourg office.

European Capital Partners
European Capital Partners has announced the recruitment of Sascha Steinmeier as head of sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as the registration for distribution in Germany and Switzerland of its European Value sub-fund.

Damovo
Communications solutions and services provider Damovo has announced the appointment of Sonja Frères as country manager for Luxembourg.

Panalpina
Daniel Kohl took office as country manager for Luxembourg on April 1 at logistics company Panalpina.

André Hoffmann has been re-elected as president of the NOC of Luxembourg for a second term. The ballot took place at the General Assembly held on March 18 at the NOC headquarters. Secretary General Daniel Dax has also been confirmed.
