POST Luxembourg and Singapore Post (SingPost) have entered a strategic partnership in the field of e-commerce logistics.

The contract was signed Wednesday, as Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy, Etienne Schneider, was visiting Singapore.

SingPost has a presence in the entire Asian market, which Luxembourg also will have access to as of the end of September. In return, SingPost will gain improved access to the European market.

In the future, all packages coming from Singapore to Europe will be flown via Luxembourg, then distributed by the Post all over Europe, Minister Schneider said in an RTL interview.

In general, customers of both companies should benefit from the deal and experience faster and better e-commerce deliveries. Delivery times should also be more predictable.

SingPost is active worldwide in 19 markets. For POST Luxembourg, the cooperation is a further step in its strategy to gain new customers by diversifying its offering.
