14-storey apartment block to be built in Differdange
A 14-storey block of apartments is due to be built in Differdange.
The building, measuring 58m tall, will include 138 apartments above a ground-floor commercial area.
This will be the first residential tower block to be built in Differdange and apartments will range from a studio to four-bedroom flats.
Project developer, Ikogest, will be leading the development, which has not yet entered into construction phase. The new development will be located in the Arboria area of Differdange, between the town centre and the international school.
The exterior of the new tower block — named Aurea — will be covered in golden vertical lines – an architectural element which will also be seen on the nearby commercial centre, Opkorn, which is due to open in this autumn.
The iron and steel industries of Differdange were the inspiration for this architectural touch.
More details are available at the Urban Living event held at the Oberkorn sports centre in Differdange from Friday until Sunday. It will be open from 4pm until 9pm on Friday, from 2pm until 7pm on Saturday and from 10am until 6pm on Sunday.
