2 Passengers Killed and 3 People Left Injured Following Severe Car Crash in Esch-sur-Alzette. Two people tragically lost their lives on Sunday morning after a motorist lost control of his vehicle at the Raemerich roundabout in Esch-sur-Alzette.
The 21-year-old driver in question has been travelling from the A4 with three passengers at 06:15 when he lost control of his car at the roundabout, which was then thrown at high speed and came to rest at the pedestrian underpass.
Two passengers were killed immediately, whilst the third sustained minor injuries and was transported to Esch hospital. The driver was left critically injured and was rushed to hospital by rescue helicopter.
A paramedic also received minor injuries in rescuing people from the burning vehicle.
