1st camp held for Luxembourg Lacrosse National Team

Luxembourg Lacrosse organised its first national team camp this past week-end (18-19 November) at the national sports institute (INS – “Institute National des Sports”) and the Michel Wagner stadium in Weimerskirch.

Structured across four sessions covering fitness, fundamentals, team offense and defense, the team was coached by Rob Ingham Clark from the UK and assisted by sports therapist Samantha Wisby. Canadian head coach Scott and his assistant coaches Pollock and Barber provided remote assistance.

A dozen players participated at this first session and the team now begins with full training for the world cup in Israel. Interested players can, however, still join.

General manager Henning Schmidt stated the “camp went fine, but with only seven months to go, there is no slack left in our preparation. We definitely want to make a good impression in Netanya and it’s encouraging that all players bought into that.”
