Two drivers were seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision between Roeser and Schlammasté in the south of Luxembourg.

According to police, the accident occurred at around 4:15pm on Tuesday. One driver crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.

Both vehicles were completely written off in the collision.

The road was closed for some time to clear the wreckage. A diversion was put in place via Alzingen and Hellingen.
