Film Fund Luxembourg Awards €8m to 11 Film Projects
Following the meeting of the National Support Fund for Audiovisual Production selection committee on 14-16 November 2017, they decided to grant selective financial aid for a total of €8,165,411 to a total of 11 film production projects.
Pre-production projects / script-writing (total €235,000):
– Le refuge – €30,000 – feature-length fiction – writer: Guillaume Levil – writer-director: Cyrus Neshvad – production: Cyne Films.
– Maret – €60,000 – feature-length fiction – writer-director: Laura Schroeder – production: Red Lion.
– Lost in the ‘80s – €25,000 – feature-length documentary – writer-director: Andy Bausch – production: Paul Thiltges Distributions.
– Sara, Sara – €60,000 – feature-length fiction – writer-director: Donato Rotunno – production: Tarantula Luxembourg.
– Voyagers of the Enchanted Forest – €60,000 – feature-length animation – writer-director: Alê Abreu – production: Melusine Productions.
Production projects (total €7,655,411):
– The Room – 1,203,514 – feature-length fiction – writers: Vincent Ravalec, Eric Forestier, Gaia Guasti and Sabrina Karine – writer-director: Christian Volckman – production: Bidibul Productions.

Cineworld projects (total €275,000):

The selection committee had reviewed a total of 23 projects submitted for a total of €13,736,329. The next selection committee dates are in 2018.
