Luxembourg watchdog warns of ‘unknown’ entity

Entity ‘not been granted authorisation to provide banking, other financial services in or from Luxembourg’

Luxembourg’s financial services watchdog has issued a warning about the activities of an entity unknown to it.

Epargne Banque, which claims to be established at Place de Metz near the Adolphe bridge in Luxembourg City, has “not been granted any authorisation to provide banking or other financial services in or from Luxembourg,” the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) wrote in a statement.

This comes less than two weeks after the watchdog issued a warning about the activities of another entity, Cybertrust, which is incorporated under Luxembourg law and established on rue Astrid in Belair.
