Enjoy Gudde Wellen open air festival

Enjoy good music, fun comedy, fresh air, a cool atmosphere and cold beverages during the forthcoming Gudde Wellen open air festival.

As hope and excitement begin to build up for the National Day, despite an anticipated quiet celebration, the week-long De Gudde Wellen open air festival could serve as an exciting runup with different activities to explore before and on the National day.

Last year the festival did not take place due to Covid and restrictions, however this year, the open air festival is back, re-igniting the one of the first rays of normalcy. The free festival will take place as a covid check event meaning that entry is subject to the provision of a covid check QR code from myguichet.lu indicating your covid status.

Interested participants can also show a PCR test carried out 72 hours prior to the event, or a certified rapid antigen test taken at the pharmacy 48 hours prior. There will also be the option to take the rapid antigen test onsite 30 minutes before the start of the event for a small fee. Participants allowed into the venue can enjoy the festivities without the obligation of masks or social distancing with drinks and food made available for purchase. The event is organised with the support of the City of Luxembourg, Tango, Symposium, Fonds Kirchberg, and Brasserie Simon. Click here for the main highlights.
