Amnesty International Luxembourg launches fundraising appeal

Amnesty International Luxembourg volunteers this week started their annual fundraising campaign, gathering in public locations in the Grand Duchy.

The public collection campaign runs until December 3 after which, on December 5, volunteers will go door-to-door to recruit new donors. In no instances is cash collected and donations are only accepted when donors sign up to make a direct debit.

The aim of the campaign is to both raise money and awareness about infringements on human rights around the world.

Amnesty International’s volunteers will be easily recognisable by their Amnesty-branded clothing and identification badges.

If in doubt, members of the public can request to see their identification badge or call Amnesty International directly via 352 48 16 87.
