Sopra Steria Celebrates 15 Years in Luxembourg

Earlier this week, Sopra Steria celebrated its 15 year anniversary in Luxembourg with a Hackathon on the theme of bank security, in which more than 200 people participated.

Soria Steria, a leading European digital transformation company, organised a three-day event last weekend and early this week to celebrate 15 years of being in Luxembourg.

On the second day of Soria Steria’s Hackathon, several roundtables took place, led by passionate and pragmatic experts on the topics of digital transformation and innovation.

On Saturday 12 November, the banking security Hackathon, organised in collaboration with Société Générale, brought together around 25 developers at the Technoport Belval where the teams had 24 hours to test and prototype new ideas specifically aimed at the banking sector and its challenges. The SGBT prize was given to the team BehAlve and the Sopra Steria prize to team Trapbox.

The winners were then invited by jury member Pascal Steichen from SECURITYMADEIN.LU to attend the international security conference Hack.lu. Sopra Steria also invited everyone who took part to its business lab for one week in order to finalise their projects and turn them into products.

On Monday 14 November, there were several discussions, roundtables and presentations given by Sopra Steria and Axway experts. They tackled important topics such as Entreprise 3,0, Fast IT and Artificial Intelligence with the robot Lucie Pepper.

The three-day event ended with a cocktail and walking dinner.
