natur&emwelt organises Cider Tasting Event in Born

The English-speaking section of natur&emwelt is organising a Luxembourgish cider tasting in Born on 20 October 2018 from 14:00-18:00.

Luxembourg´s east is famous for its picturesque landscapes and traditional villages, interspersed with countless orchards. On this occasion, participants will have the chance to see and learn about these orchards along the river Sauer and to taste some of the local products on a guided walk near the small village of Born. The guided walk will particularly offer insight into the importance of orchards, both economically and ecologically as well as into some of the recent conservation efforts.

Afterwards, participants will visit the Ramborn Cider Farm, where they will learn about the various traditional apple varities in the region as well as how the famous cider is made. This will be followed by a tasting of some of the different cider varieties and fruit juices that are produced in Born

The guided orchard walk will begin at 14:00, followed by the Ramborn cider farm visit and tasting at 16:00.

The meeting point will be the church in Born (with parking available on the Duerfstrooss road).
