30 left jobless after Luxembourg taxi firm files for bankruptcy

30 people have been left jobless after a taxi-ambulance firm based in the south of Luxembourg filed for bankruptcy.

The announcement came on Thursday that Taxis-Ambulances Barroso, based in Esch-sur-Alzette, had officially field for bankruptcy, following months of uncertainty.

Luxembourg union LCGB said it held a meeting with staff to help them apply for bankruptcy-related benefits and claw back any unpaid wages as well as find new work.
