Last week-end, the Fédération Internationale des Voitures Anciennes (FIVA) organised the Councours d’Elegance for historic cars and motorcycles at Mondorf Domaine Thermal
The event attracted around 5,000 spectators to Mondorf-les-Bains for what was the 4th edition of the event, but for the first time organised by FIVA, which aims to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation Luxembourg. Besides the highlight of the Alfa Romeo 2016 edition, the public was able to admire in a relaxing atmosphere a hundred classic cars and motorcycles, the oldest of which date from the early 20th century.
An international jury was led by Patrick Rollet, FIVA World President, and Jean-Paul Tissot, President of the Club Delahaye France, as well as Daniel Lapp, automotive historian. He emphasised that the real prize for any collector and enthusiast historic vehicle is the constitution of such a prestigious jury.
The organisers thanked cordially all collectors for their provision of their vehicles and all the spectators and sponsors who contributed to the success of this prestigious event.
