Nigel Farage has been accused of more Brexit lies after footage of the Ukip leader saying EU spending should be invested in the NHS resurfaced.
It comes days after Mr Farage said pledging £350 million for the health service was a ‘mistake’, but blamed it on other Leave campaigners.
Hours after Britain’s decision to leave the EU was confirmed, Mr Farage was asked on ITV’s Good Morning Britain if he could guarantee the £350 million a week he claimed Britain sends to the EU would go to the NHS.
He replied: ‘No I can’t and I would never have made that claim, that’s one of the mistakes that the Leave campaign made.’
However, the statement contrasts with comments made by Mr Farage on BBC Question Time on June 1, weeks before the referendum.
