The University of Luxembourg is getting global recognition after being ranked among the 251-300 best universities in the world by Times Higher Education.
For the ranking, universities were scored based on five categories: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.
The University of Luxembourg reached its highest ever score in the categories of research (39.2) and industry income (47.3). It also scored a jaw-dropping 99.5 for international outlook category.
It lost ground compared to the year before in the categories of teaching, falling from 35.7 to 33, and in citations, from 73.2 to 65.7.
According to the university, the number of universities analysed in the ranking increased by 135 to 1,662 from 2021 to 2022, “resulting in an increasingly fierce competition for the best places each year,” the university wrote.
